Taken classes at community college in 9th grade (Chem and Philosophy)

Planning on majoring in poli sci and performing in the music department.

On a 1-100 scale, what would you say for:

Princeton
Harvard
Yale
Penn
Brown
Columbia
GTown
Duke
etc.

Thanks! I know these places are crapshoots, but a rough estimate would be nice. :)

your right it sucks, cause you could literally probly get into any of those schools, or you could get rejected by all! It's horrible, but im positive if you applied to all of those i'd say ud def. get into at least two. I am playing chances, probly GTown is your safest of the list, yea its not like ur SAT CR is amazing or i would say ur set. HMMMM. And i dont understand ur GPA, but yea you got a shot at ivies but horrible odds, good chance with duke, brown, and columbia....thats my two cents, chance me back!

You're in at Duke, but the other places are going to be a bit more competitive. However, I think you have a shot at a few of the Ivy's, your national merit status will definately be a positive. You seem like an ideal fit at Yale, since they have a very strong music program.

Harvard, less likely
G-Town, more likely
Brown, a better shot than Harvard
Penn, more likely (Your best shot at an Ivy_
Columbia, more likely

Did you consider Cornell, Boston College, Pomona, Oberlin, and USC???

I would say that Penn and Georgetown are probably your best shots at a top notch school
As we all know harvard is a crapshoot, along with Princeton and Yale but I would say that you deserve to get into two of them
Founded NHS at school? Wow that's amazing

I've considered Cornell, but I really don't think I'd enjoy the setting (too rural), BU is nice, but i would NEVER EVER apply to U$C. I know it's a great school, but seeing as I live in Newport, it would be like high school all over again, so I have a personal grudge against it. Some people may like the atmosphere there, just not me.

My boss wrote me a great letter from the internship, and for the schools that are more open to supplementary stuff, my principal sent a letter too.

My class rank is TECHNICALLY top 5% because Jazz Band and whatnot dilute my GPA (what I wrote up there was w/o dilution) and district policy says no C/NC. However, in my counselor req, this is explained, as I would be one of the top 5 students at least (out of around 400)

Harbor's my rival school. Fun Fact: My school was approached first and turned MTV down, no joke. Well, the kids were p/oed but the admins did it anyway.

And I keep forgetting stuff:

Iranian descent
Fluent (but and read/write) Farsi
Fluent French

Hello Guys, I dont know much about the SAT. I am an international student. But I would like to know something .. Isnt "coolwhipsandwich"'s SAT score of 2240 enough for MIT / Harvard / Stanford??

It's enough to put him in the running, but they get tons of applicants with mid twenty-two hundreds and tons with a lot higher. Especially from affluent schools. He's in the running, but so are 80% of applicants.

Yeah, from what I hear, the basic structure of admissions has two stages:

Academics. Here they look at your GPA, class rank, and test scores. if you're good, they toss you into a new pile. If not, well, they toss you somewhere else.

Everything else. At this point, they MOSTLY disregard things such as SATs and GPA, but still consider what classes you have taken, how hard they were, and a whole bunch of other subjective stuff along with ECs, recs, and essays of course.

PS: What would you say my odds are at Hopkins and Wharton?
