Can anybody chance me at the following schools - Stanford, Duke, UCLA (OOS), Vanderbilt, Rice, Wake Forest, Emory, Michigan (OOS), Cornell, UConn (In State). Also, would it help me to apply to either stanford or duke ED, those two are the highest on my list.

bump please?

i promise to chance back?

At a school as competitive as yours, it’s best to talk to your GC, who will have a better idea of where your school’s students typically end up.

I’d say you have a strong chance, but as colleges move away from the typical mathematically gifted Asians and away from top prep schools, who knows?

You definitely will put up stiff competition for Stanford/Duke but its so competitive that it is hard to tell. I would say you are 98% in at Wake Forest, UConn, Emory, Vanderbilt, and Rice
75% in at UCLA, Michigan, and 60% at Cornell. Make sure your essays are fantastic and you will do fine :)

You will have an average chance with stanford;
You will have an average chance with Duke;
You will have an average chance with UCLA;
You will have an average chance with Vanderbilt;
You will have an average chance with Rice, but a very competitive chance (avg. accept is a 95);
You will have a decent chance with Wake Forest (Avg. accept is a 91)
Emory, avg. again
Cornell is okay; they are a bit more “leniant” if you will
Uconn Shouldn’t be too hard either…
Good luck!

What makes this profile average for Stanford or Duke? GPA, SAT???

Whoops, didn’t see your SAT–I would definitely aim for a 2300+.
