What are my chances at some of the top schools in the south? Vandy, W and L, Emory, William and Mary, and Wake Forest
If I were to go ED to Vanderbilt, would my chances there be much better?

3.55 UW GPA at a very competitive NY high school
SAT I's: 720 Verbal, 690 Math
SAT II's: 780 Writing, 700 Math IIC, 640 Physics
APs: English Composition 5, Physics 4, Biology 5, Chemistry 4, English Literature 5
ECs: Preparatory Program at a NY music school on weekends 8-12 grade, 3 years varsity Lacrosse, 2 years varsity ski team, National Merit Scholar Honorable Mention for PSAT, Area- All State on my instrument from 10-12 grade, 4 years of Band.
Good Essay and Solid Recommendations (I assume).
However, I finished on a slightly downward trend and junior year was all Bs to B+s.
Thanks for your help.

I think you're in at Washington & Lee and Wake. Maybe look into Tulane? William and Mary out of state can be tricky but good shot. Emory is a reach, Vandy should be considered one also but a realistic one. If you really like the school, do ED.

Probably gonna get into all of them, but if you want to take out hours in the College of Arts and Science, you need all 5's o APs (just telling to you)

Thanks for all your feedback. I was under the impression that it would be a super reach for william and mary and the others were pretty much target/reaches. Does anyone know people who have gotten into these schools and their academic records? Thanks again.

There was some dude from our school....but je was insanely smart....1570 and a 35 and 5's on like 7 AP tests....and had like a 4.0...got a full ride
