Chances at Tufts ED

<p>I am planning to do an overnight at TUFTS in early November in this program called "Telescope" or something for minorities</p>

<p>I am an Asian female applying ED I to arts and sciences
~no class rank
~3.54 Unweighted GPA (about 4.1 weighted I think)
~pretty good teacher recs
~2020 SAT I (640M/670V/720W) retaking in octoober but I am not sure my score will go up
~Sat II's: taking in November chinese (i should do well on it), math II (i think I will get like mid 600s on it) and literature (maybe high 600s)</p>

<p>Extracurriculars:
Varsity Tennis: 4 years, captain for 1 year
track and field: varsity for one year
School newspaper for one year
Youth Ending Hunger club: president for 2 years
Aiding the Underprivileged African Children club: Vice president for 2 years
National honor society: For 3 years (or whatever the maximum is)
French Honor Society: 2 years
BLind Faith School (help blind people in art and music lessons)
Chinese School on weekends
Spring and Summer job as a tennis teacher for a private instructor
Babysit
Lazarus Leadership Fellows Program (a program that teaches high school students about leadership and them you design your own community service project for a summer)
400+ community service hours</p>

<p>Classes last year (Junior year):
IB History (C's-do you think this will hurt my chances??)
IB PRecalculus (B and C) 6 out of 7 on exam<br>
AP English Language & Comp. (all A's) 4 on exam
IB French 5 (all A's)
Physics Honors (all A's)
Anatomy and Physiology Honors (B's and A's)
School newspaper (all A's)</p>

<p>Please be truthful because I am going through a major dilemma of where to apply Early Decision.</p>

<p>If nothing else, applying ED should help your chances. I am however disturbed by your low SAT's! Tufts is a pretty rigorous school to get into, and they really do take lots of IVY rejects (Harvard, Brown, Yale as well as some of the more elite LAC's like Amherst and Williams). Study hard for the next round of SAT's. because that will be your chance to shine. Good luck!</p>
