Chances at Tufts?

So I visited Tufts yesterday, and I absolutely loved it. Right now it is my top choice. However, I am worried that I don't even have a chance of getting in because of my weak EC activities. I've been looking around here, and it seems like everyone that I have looked at has better ECs than I do...

GPA: around 3.8-3.9 unweighted and 4.1-4.2 weighted

SAT I: 2250 (CR 720, Math 750, Writing 780) I also might retake it in the fall
SAT II: Haven't taken them yet...
I also may take the ACTs with writing.

Junior Year Schedule:
French 4 Honors
AP Physics AB
AP Calculus AB
AP English Lang
Honors Social Studies
Living Independently (I signed up for Psych and Sociology but they didn't fit so I got stuck with this random FCS course)
Choir

Senior Year Schedule:
AP Stat
AP Lit
AP Macro
AP Bio
Psychology
PEN (Gifted course)
Choir

*My school has block scheduling, so I don't think we are able to take as many AP courses as other students? At least I can't with Choir in my schedule
**Also in my school District, 9th grade is part of the middle school

Also on the AP tests:
AP Lang - 4
AP Calc AB - 4

And now for my list of EC activities/other random stuff, which I now feel is woefully small and unimpressive. Also I am worried because my list is rather lopsided instead of well-rounded and because I'm not really an officer/leader in my clubs.

Middle school Select Choir (7th-9th)
Women's Ensemble (All of my high school years)
Chamber Choir (All of my high school years)
County Choir Festival (7th-10th)
District Choir Festival(11th)
Regional Choir Festival (11th)
School Musical (7th, 9th, 10th, 11th)
District Art Festival (10th grade)
NHS
Christian Fellowship Club
Thespians Club

I also took dance lessons from 7th-10th grade, where I was part of the competition dance team
During the summers before 11th and 12th grade I was in two different community theater musicals
I have been an acolyte at my church since the sixth grade, plus I volunteer there for different community service events
I was a CIT at a summer camp in 9th grade
I have been working a part time job since the beginning of my junior year
In 9th grade I received an award for having one of the top 10 GPAs in my class
I am in the process of learning computer programming

I also consider myself to be a strong writer, so I am hoping that my essays will carry me a little bit. I also think I am going to get pretty good teacher/counselor recommendations.

So basically it's nothing spectacular, but I just want to know if I even have a chance?

You have a good shot. Your extracurriculars are good… remember, this school is not ivy.

If you apply early decision you have a really good shot.

P.S— DON’T RETAKE THE SAT. You have an amazing score already. Colleges don’t want to students who freak out when they get a 97% instead of 100. You are like the 98th percentile, don’t come off as one of those kids… A stanford admissions officer specifically told me that…

Thank you very much! Yeah, I don’t think I am going to re-take my SATs now  I might apply ED, but I’m still keeping my options open for now…

Your SATs are definetely good enough. I’d say your GPA is okay, but nothing too too strong.
You’re clearly taking enough APs, and 4s should be fine.

Things to worry about:
Make sure you take those SAT IIs and get 700 or more on them.
If you can, put something about leadership into your resume.

It’s fine that most of your ECs revolve around singing, because you have a lot for it.
It would help a lot of you had an award, big or small, for something singing related.

Your school-related activities are fine, just make sure you can brag about an award or being ranked in a competition outside of school.

Sure, Tufts isn’t an ivy league, but it is still a very good, competitive university.
Just work on those SAT IIs and show some type of leadership/more awards, big or small, and you should have a decent chance.

Well, I don’t really think I have the time to go and get more awards haha, but I do have something for leadership. Also, my friend and I might start a glee club at our school?

Bump. Anyone else have an opinion?
