help? please?

I'm a white girl applying to the engineering school... is that going to make a difference?

ec's are a bit lacking, but i think your in. great job on the sat's!

thanks for the advice!
i'm so bummed that I don't have any ecs... i spend about 4 hours at the theatre every night, and my school has a sport requirement, so every time I sign up for something I never can make the meetings!

its alright yull probably get in

You've got an excellent shot on paper, but make sure your essays are unique and well-constructed (I'm sure you will). Also, let Tufts know that they're your first pick. They want kids who are serious, who have visited, interviewed, kept in contact, etc (as opposed to those who just apply randomly). Your ECs don't seem very extensive, but there are only so many EC spaces on the app. so it shouldn't matter.
Tufts is a great pick, best of luck in your college choice!!

Make sure you mention the ECs in your other thread (the internship and everything else). I'd imagine wanting to be an engineer helps a lot with crew/backstage work, and it's definitely interesting. If you can somehow bring those together, if that's something you're actually into, it could definitely work.
