chances at tufts?

<p>Hey all,
Looking to transfer to tufts and wanted to know what you thought my chances are...here are my stats:</p>

<p>SAT I
Math: 790
Reading: 740
Writing: 720</p>

<p>SAT II
Math 2c: 710
Lit: 730</p>

<p>APs
AB Calc: 5
BC Calc: 5
Eng Lang: 4
Spanish Lang: 4
Latin: 4
Eng Lit: 3
Spanish Lit: 3
Enviro Sci: 3</p>

<p>Currently at a top 20 LAC with the following courses and grades before finals:
Calculus II: 91
Econ 101: 93
Phil 101: 88
Eng 101: 88</p>

<p>That's a 3.5 for now, though hopefully I pull it up to a 3.6 with finals and all. Thoughts on my shot at tufts?</p>

<p>I think you have as good a chance as many -- the problem is that the transfer acceptance rate at Tufts is less than 10%. If your GPA was 3.7 or higher I would be more confident. Nevertheless, pay attention to your essays -- work hard on them -- and, if possible, visit the campus and meet the transfer admissions team personally. It might help you stand out.</p>

<p>Well I'm at Tufts now, and I'm looking to transfer out, haha.</p>

<p>But anyway, compared to me, your stats are a lot higher, and match and even surpass a couple of last year's transfers I know. So I honestly think you don't really have to worry. Good luck. : ]</p>
