Everything on my UC app shows how hard I worked and my dedication. Only thing is my UC GPA, which is 3.72W. It isn’t that high.
GPA: 3.800
Cal Resident
EC and Community Service/Volunteer: A lot dedication. I worked every summer and many years of dedication. Outstanding.
ACT Score: 31 first time and 32 the second tie. 32 is what they received.
SAT II: Chemistry 700, Math II: 760
9 AP courses taken.
Essays level: Worked really hard on them. They turned out really great. Wrote about a really huge past experience that impacted me crazy. Reviewed by great hands.

I think your chances are better instate because of the GPA. Those OOS schools will be very expensive.
Your GPA may not be competitive for LA and Berkeley, but for everything else, it looks good.
GPA also in the low side for UMich.
UC GPA looks slightly low for UCLA and UCB but everything else looks solid! Like someone else said it should be slightly easier for you to get into the UCs as you are in state. I’d say you’re competitive for UVA UMich and GT but its going to be hard to get into those OOS. Best of luck!

If you essays are as amazing as you claim, then the Mid-tier UC’s are probably a Match.
