Some of the schools I'm currently considering are:
University of Alabama
Auburn University
University of Georgia
University of Tennessee
Belmont University
Vanderbilt University
Lander University
Rhodes College
Texas A&M University
North Carolina State
University of Arkansas
Baylor University

I know that's a LOT of schools, but I'm trying to cut down my list and choose my final few before I start applying.

Thanks in advance.
Also, feel free to suggest other schools I should look into if you think they'll be a good fit for me.

Vanderbilt high reach
Rhodes reach

Do you think it’s possible for me to raise my SAT scores enough to make those schools lower reaches?

The scores I listed above were with no studying prior to the test and with no previous exposure to the test. I’m studying a LOT this summer to bring those scores up drastically.

Bump? Haha:)

You could bring the scores up enough to make them mid to low reach. Also are you in/near College Station b/c that happens to make a difference for acceptance chances.

Thanks:) And I live nowhere near College Station. Haha:)

Bump? I’d like all the input I can get!

UGA and Tx A&M also may be reaches, given your SAT scores and, in the case of A&M, class rank.

What about the rest of the schools? Are those matches or reaches?

Bump? I’m probably annoying everyone. Sorry!

Get your SAT up to a 1900 and I say you have a good shot at getting into UGA.

I think you’re in at AU and UA. I don’t recommend that you apply EA to Auburn because Auburn EA is just pure stats- they don’t consider ECs in that round, which is your strong point.
I highly encourage you to tour both Auburn and Alabama. Try to catch a football game at either. It’s contagious. You’ll fall in love with Auburn, definitely.

Thanks, everyone! Bump(:

Buuuuump! (:

I just for my ACT scores. They are as follows:
Composite- 25
English- 26
Math- 25
Reading- 25
Science- 24

Bump! Thanks to everyone who has given me their opinions so far. (:

Bump! Thanks in advance(:

It might depend a lot on you’re schools performance reputation, ranking, and economy (weird I know haha) buttt…

University of Alabama- in
Auburn University- in
University of Georgia- slight reach
University of Tennessee- in
Belmont University- no idea
Vanderbilt University- slight reach
Lander University- no idea
Rhodes College- reach
Texas A&M University- instate you should be good
North Carolina State- slight slight reach
University of Arkansas- in
Baylor University- in

Thanks for the input!

delta3girl- I’m confused. You said Vandy was a slight reach and Rhodes was a reach, but Vandy is more selective than Rhodes.

Anyway… bump!
