UC GPA is 3.96 weighted I believe

please chance me for UCLA UCSD UCB UCI and USC .... also Johns Hopkins

thank you very very very much, i greatly appreciate it. hope to see what you think :D

bump… i really want to know

public school class rank 45/630 if that counts… anyone?

Average GPA, average SAT, and strong ECs. I see you rejected at JHU, LA, Berkeley, and USC. I see you accepted in everything else.

Somewhat weak GPA and scores, good ECs and honors/awards. I’d say:

Berkeley: reach
UCLA: reach
UCSD: slight reach - high match
UCI: safe match
USC: reach
JHU: reach

PS What city were you in at Boys’ State?

it was california golden boys state in sacramento. i saw our governor :D

damn i really want to go to ucla… any other opinions?

bump… …

i was also born in the country of Georgia and am fluent in russian… could that help my chances?

bump again. umm plz? i really want ucla

merry christmas : )

UC’s are REALLY number based  so i think if you REALLY, really do a good job with the personal statement you’ll have a chance. your gpa and SAT are not bad, but they’re right at, if not below, UCLA’s 50% mark.

good luck!!

since it looks like that part is average, or right below 50%, wont you think my ECs are over the top and thus will bring me over to become admitted?

bump 4 xmas : )

If you really wanted to go to those reach schools, you should have retaken all those SATs in the fall. They’re just too low.

i retook i got 1870 two times, and retook in december, got 1810 -_-;

Reach: UCLA, UCB, JHU, USC
Slight reach/high match: UCSD
Safe match: UCI

i was thinking ucsd would be a match if not safe match…im elc eligible also (top 12% of state, but not top 4%)

Your SAT Math is absurd considering you took AP Calculus. Are you just not a good test taker?? The AP exam scores listed prove otherwise…but I don’t know.

For UCLA you need at least ~2000. Essay better be mind-blowingly amazing. I’m talking Harry Potter + Matt Damon awesome.

im taking ap calc right now, i took sat in math level 2 (660) in junior year, after pre-calc, which i had a really bad teacher, hence the C i recieved second semester, my only C ever. i got 670 on sat reasoning math… really dissapointed in that.

ecs are bland…? wat u talkn bout.
