<p>I know I said that the grades and the choice of your major is sort of a disadvantage. But, I really think you have a 50/50 chance. Either an admissions officer will read your app and see you as a unique individual who will contribute to the campus or someone who will be better off at another school. Changing your major might help you but if you really want to be a doctor, then stick with it. I know you declare a major junior year, but it shows the admissions officers what direction you’re headed and if there are people with better stats, then they won’t admit you. Nevertheless, my friend is a bioengineering major at SD and she got in with worse stats. The admissions process is just weird in that way. Good luck, I think you’ll be fine.</p>
