<p>hey sup guys.</p>

<p>I'm an asian male at a very competitive high school in CA. I'm interested in bio sci or business fields in the top UCs, what are my chances at UCB, UCLA, or UCSD</p>

<p>ok, my stats
PSAT: National Merit Commended (203)
SAT I: 2110 (720 M, 670 CR, 720 W) upset about math.. but hope iic can cover me.
Junior Year:
Hn PreCalc: A, A
AP Psych: A, A
APUSH: B, A
AP Stats: A, A
Hn English: B, B
AP Bio: A, A</p>

<p>Sophmore gpa: 3.83 , 3.66
UC GPA (8sem weighted): 106/26 = 4.07 , i dont see how some ppl can get 4.5+ weighted GPA , since most classes in sophomore year aren't weighted...
currently taking AP Calc bc, Finite/Discrete (college course), AP physics, reg english, DI (G requirement), Govt/Econ.</p>

<p>SAT II:
Bio-M: 760
Math IIC: 800
Math IC (took for fun): 790</p>

<p>5 on AP Bio
5 on AP Stats
5 on AP Psych
5 on AP US history</p>

<p>3 years of Spanish, 4 consecutive years of Math, Science, History, and English</p>

<p>My ECs
1) Go Club (weiqi, baduk w/e u call it, its a board game like chess) Foreign relations (10); President (11,12)
won 1st in several youth tournaments and lead the club in winning 1st for the 2nd california high school go tournament.</p>

<p>2) Treasurer of Gravel Pit Club (hiphop, breakdancing club) (12)
Very active club, meets everyday at lunch. We do shows and some competitions
3) Participated in the American Regional Mathematics League (10)
4) SCVMA Madhatter - participated in school team. School won 1st (10) and 2nd place (11)
5) Participated in gymnastics and had badminton lessons (11)
6) AMC/AIME index of 140-150 (10,11)
7) Won 1st place in the Chinese Cultural Competition in the regional and national level (11)</p>

<p>1) Private tutor
2) Placed First in a local essay contest
3) Participated in the Relay for Life program.
4) Tutoring at former elementary school for 3 years.</p>

<p>I'm a little weak on the SAT and GPA department, but im okay on the ECs i think.. So what do you think my chances are for the UCs?</p>

<p>a 4.5 UC GPA is impossible if you do the math ;) unless they're taking very few classes..</p>

<p>Yeah I think MSJ would be one of the few high schools to have a Go Club</p>

<p>lol, there are 13 other schools in CA that have go clubs.</p>
