They’re probably all high matches if your doing engineering. Your scores are solid but you GPA may be on the low side for your major. I bet you’ll get into at least one if not more. Bets of luck!
Chance back if you have the time?

You have a stellar GPA, amazing SAT score and a top notch ACT score. You’re diversity with EC’s is also good. Don’t see much volunteer work though. I’d say you have a really good chance. You’re definitely what a college looks for in a prospective student and if you don’t get in you could get into pretty much any school besides ivies, but still a possibility.

UCI: Match
UCD/UCSB: Match-High Match

You are a competitive applicant. Good luck.

@Gumbymom I heard that UCSB is more lenient on applicants who have high test scores. Is this true?

Bump

UCSB is not more lenient on applicants that have higher test scores if their GPA is not up to par 4.0+. I just noticed they tend to favor applicants with a 4.0+ GPA and higher test scores more often than the lower test scores. They also put more emphasis on essays and EC’s.

Do they admit by major or by college? Because I heard that the average gpa for CoE is around 4.1, but after looking around a little bit, I found out that the average GPA for Computer/Electrical Engineering is a 4.04.
