I have a 3.3 unweighted gpa and a 3.8 weighted
For my senior year I am doing full time dual enrollment and should graduate high school with 40 college credits.
My SAT is 1140
I have 712 community service hours and have had four jobs, mainly keeping two at the same time. I plan to go into Elementary education and the two jobs that I have now is a swim instructor for children, and aftercare counselor.
I also applied for summer in hopes of better chances of getting in and am also an in-state student
Well, my opinion only. I think your chances are on the low side for straight up admission. (GPA and SATs are below average for UCF) However you’re close to having enough credits to get an AA degree and then transfer into UCF. If your grades are good in your college level work, I think you can easily make that transfer. Also you’d save a lot of money doing a year in community college and then transferring. Congrats on the community service hours, that’s impressive!
Good luck.
The dual enrollment classes will be weighted, so hopefully that can help your GPA. I’d think about taking the SAT again. One or the other has to go up. I have a friend who got in to UCF with the same SAT score, but her GPA was something like 4.3.
I was originally differed until I sent them my resume and was accepted a week later
Congrats! I think you’re going to love UCF.
