I really appreciate anyone who comment's input. Thanks for taking the time to do this.

test scores and grade wise - i don’t foresee you facing any problems for any of the universities/colleges you are applying to.

your EC’s aren’t too bad, there are plenty of kids with worse, but definitely put in the concentrations like math league at the top.

as far as essays go - if your gc is working with you, then you should have no problem, but i do warn you that too much input from other people will diminish your voice in the essay - don’t allow that to happen.

good luck!

I disagree with AudreyH, your ECs are weak and I think that your 690 CR really hurts you. I think that both chicago and cornell are reaches for you, and if you want to have any serious hope you need amazing essays.

Yeah, I figured they were at least reaches. I am thinking about playing up Math League and exchange to Shanghai, as they were the main things I did. Thanks for the input from both of you.

Any other opinions?

Anyone else?

Remember that both of these schools don’t look at SAT Writing (and that Cornell does not use score choice), so you should be using the 1470/1600.

you have a good shot at cornell/uchicago
I reccomend not posting essays on CC as there are horrible people who will steal ideas from ur essay

Bump bump, thanks for the input, guys.

your ec’s are sorta weak, but the math league thing’s very strong, especially consdering you played b-ball for 4 years on varsity. your 690 on CR is bad, but you should still have a good chance at uchicago and cornell. good luck!
