I am also a Legacy

Any feedback would be appreciated. Thank you.

I think you have a good shot.

I think you'd be a good fit, especially with legacy. U of Chicago is a bit unpredictable as they aren't looking for #'s...they are looking for good students and also, make sure to have excellent essays. I can't stress the part about essays enough since that's what makes University of Chicago so distinct. I, too, am planning to apply, but next year, since I'm a junior now. Good luck!

Agree being a legacy should help. Might want to look at some eastern schools like Colgate, Holy Cross or Bowdoin.

I think that you have an excellent chance. Make sure to stress that you are really interested or they might think they are a backup school. Find ways of showing that you are really interested in learning and have intellectual curiosity and independence. Show that their type of undergraduate education is what you are looking for, and you're in. You are well rounded, with the music and sports in addition to ECs and academics- they will like that. (I graduated from there.)

Thank you for the input. I am interested in majoring in Religious studies, does it help to express this since it is somewhat unique? Thank you.
