Hi, could you please chanse me?
My horrible SAT:( 510/600/490 (1600)
GPA: 3.7
Want to study physics or SC also considering mechanical engineering.
Do I even have a chance to be accepted to UCI/UCD/UCSB?
Or should I only apply to USCS because other campuses are unreachable for me and apllying would be only waste of money?
Thanks

UCI/UCD/UCSB: low reach/reach (low reach if 3.7 is unweighted, reach if 3.7 is weighted)
UCSC: match

ECs and whether or not your 3.7 is the UC GPA or unweighted GPA would be helpful.
But going on the SATs, your UC essay, and the 3.7 GPA, I’d say…
UCI/UCD/UCSB: high reach if 3.7 is weighted and reach if it’s unweighted
UCSC: match

Thank you for your replies. 3.7 is unweighted, so I think applying to UCD and UCSB is worth a try

UCD, UCSB, UCI are low reaches(only due to SAT). You might wanna bring those up.

UCSC is a match.
