My stats are bad, but here it is.

GPA - 3.65
SAT - 2100
SAT II Bio - 750
SAT II Eng language - 730
Only 2 years of foreign language = (

EC's...4 years of volunteer work at a church, member of DECA, and internship. If I write a fantastic personal essay, what are my chances? I know there low, and because I didn't do well my freshman year, but I don't mind going to a CC for 2 years then transfering

Your test scores are on the range of UCLA level I believe.

UC GPA is only 10-11th grade courses with additional points for honors/AP. Freshman grades don't matter. Is it still a 3.65?

Unfortunately a 3.65 is a bout right (weighted) I procrastinated sophomore year so that brought me down.

Since the average UC GPA at UC Irvine is about 3.89 with an average SAT score of 1849, and you have excellent SAT IIs also, you are probably somewhere between a match and a slight reach for UC Irvine (probably closer to slight reach--but I'd apply for UC Irvine for sure if I were you). Here's you chances at some of the other UCs as well:

UCB/UCLA/UCSD: Reach
UCI/UCSB/UCD: Match to Slight Reach
UCSC/UCR: Match
UCM: Safety

Here's a few links that should help you out:

Use the second of these links to figure your UC GPA exactly--and make sure to cap your honors at 8 semester hours when you do the computation. This will help you estimate your chances more closely.

Good luck.

You're in, but go to SB or
D. People like them way better.
