BQ (Bonus Questions):
-Does NYU include Freshmen year grades when they calculate GPA? What about UCs?
-Also, would going to 2 different high schools better my chances at all?
-What is a UC MidYear Report?

Of these three, only NYU will consider the teacher rec, just FYI.

I agree with BuBBLES FoR SALE; your scores are about average or just very slightly below average for all three schools. Your extracurriculars are solid but not exceptional. Fair shot for all of them.

I’ve never heard of transferring between high schools to have any impact on admissions. The UC midyear report is only for transfer applicants who have to report their grades. Freshmen are not supposed to submit transcripts or anything like that to the UC system unless requested.

I am an in-state (CA) resident. Also, does NYU view heavily on freshmen year grades? I’m applying to Stern, and I received a very low (3.2 GPA) Freshmen year. But got a 3.9 & 3.7 since then.
