There is only 4 AP classes available at my school, I take all 4 of them. I do a lot of volunteering and research study at a local college. A

Wait you said there’s only 4 APs available but you listed 12 in your classes…

Only 4, meaning math, language arts, science, and social studies. You have have 12 in Total but those are the only AP classes available.

For a start, there is no such thing as AP Trig or Pre-Cal. Second, you say that you are taking AP English, Psych and World History for 3 years in a row, which is extraordinarily unusual.

Have you actually taken any APs? for Oxford, you will need a minimum of 3 APs related to the subject you want to study with scores of 5.

At my school there is AP Trig/Pre-Cal and Regular Trig/Pre-Cal, I don’t know why but that’s how they do things (I didn’t think it existed either, that is what is documented on my class reports). Also, at my school you can take those AP classes for 3 years. After Freshman any type of honors automatically transfers to AP. My school only has AP for science, math, english, and social studies they just have different studies within Social Studies and Science.

Does your school typically send many students to the universities that you are interested in?

We usually send about on average at least 4-5 students to each ivy league every year. I don’t know about Oxford or Cambridge but usually, the graduates at my high school go to top colleges.

UCLA: Match
Berkeley: Match
NYU: Match

Everyone else is a reach, even Stanford or Yale.

Admissions officers will like your ECSs but won’t like seeing these made up APs and taking the same APs multiple years in a row
