stats of people I know who got into LA/cal:
+ VERY HIGH gpa, high class rank, LITTLE/NO EC
+ high gpa, little/NO EC.
+ low 4.0 gpa, a lot of ecs/no ecs</p>
<p>the SAT scores of these people range from 1500's to under 1100's.</p>

-4.2ish, tons of ec's/ decile rank 1
-my friend was 3.9, so many awards and incredible ec's.
- my other friend got in with s 4.4 UC GPA and 1600..the ec's suck though. </p>
<p>i noticed that really, UCLa focuses on the numbers, but if your numbers are not top, then they take in consideration of the ec's and awards. just what i noticed</p>
