<p>Hey guys- I've heard that legacy helps your admissions chances, but how does having an older sibling(currently attending as an undergraduate) affect my chances, if it does at all? I have an older sister who is a soph at Stanford and am curious about my chances of getting accepted there, and at UCLA and the University of Chicago.</p>

ACT: 32
SAT composite: 2090 (retook it once, got a 1960...(terrible day)...and am retaking in Dec)
critical reading: 660
math: 670
writing: 760
SAT II's
math level 2: 660
literature: 700</p>
<p>GPA is a 3.8 unweighted, a 4.4 weighted (I think) my class rank is 16 out of 490</p>
<p>Extracurriculars:
varsity cross country athlete all 4 years, all-league for 4 yrs, all-area for 3, all-state 3rd team for 1 yr, head girls captain both junior and senior year, team got 3rd place at the CA state championships one year
varsity track athlete all 4 yrs, captain jr and sr yr
Green School(environmental club) all 4 yrs, President sr yr
National Honor Society President sr yr
AP Club treasurer for 2 yrs
ASB elected representative(not an officer though)
...plus several clubs, but these are the ones i'm an officer for.</p>
<p>What do you think my chances are for Stanford, UCLA and the Uni. of Chicago? I'm especially curious as to how having a sister attending Stanford will either help or hurt my chances of being accepted. Thanks in advance!! :)</p>
