Chances at UCLA

<p>I am a out of State student who is very interested in the UC system, specifically UCLA. My UC weighted GPA is about a 4.25. At my High School I am fifth out of 205 people. I am part of National Honor society (possible President of School Chapter), will be Captain of Football team this year. I am establishing a debate and math club at my school with a possible Engineering club to come later. I do community service a couple hours a week at my local Library. I will be getting involved with Habitat for Humanity over the summer. I have work experienced in a Restaurant, I prepped food and mainly washed dishes. SAT's i will be taking in June, and I expect to get a high 1920+. Classes I have taken are below. </p>

<p>^Not sure which rules you’re referring to, haha. Are your sure your UC GPA is 4.25? I don’t believe the GPA calculation recognizes any honors classes for OOS schools, so your only boosts come from AP classes. (Though someone could correct me if I’m wrong.)</p>

<p>I’m not sure what your new GPA would be (if it is different), but your other factors seem fairly strong. You’ll need a 2100+ or at least a 2000+ on those SATs for a good shot though.</p>
