chances at UCLA?

<p>my stats are listed below; what should i do to increases my chances at getting into ucla?</p>

weighted gpa: 3.815</p>

14 semesters of honors courses</p>

<p>SAT 1: 1760
SAT 2s: 610 chem, 620 math 2c</p>

<p>2 years Varsity Football
4 years Varsity Basketball
4 years Varisty Tennis</p>

<p>National Poetry Contest Award
State Ranked Chess player
Tennis Doubles Honors Award
Gold Medal for taking part in numerous activites held at school</p>

<p>4 years-member of Speech and Debate

1 year Activites Coordinator for the MSA; member for 3 yrs
1 Secretary for Indopak Club-member 2 yrs
1 President of Red Cross Club-member 3 yrs
4 yrs President for the Cricket Club</p>

<p>work experience: three years employee at a postal service franchise and a summer at the city tennis center</p>

<p>setback that affected academics: having to live in a household of nine members for 3 years (excelling in the face of adversity); taking care of the children at home (helping them with their hw) while simultaneously giving attention to my school work, serving a job, and playing sports.</p>

<p>I will be honest, the GPA is a low (LA is like a 4.17) and the SAT's are respectable, but I think your going to have to plead your case in the essays. </p>

<p>I really don't know what to say cause I don't know how bad your life is. </p>

<p>I highly suggest taking Dec. SAT (Hope you have already set that up.)
Make sure that you essays are really put together.
Your'e gpa is set in stone but what can you do about it.</p>
