Chances at UCLA?

In-State Applicant

School API - 770

Major: Physiological Science OR Microbiology, Immunology, and Molecular Genetics

GPA - W Uncapped ~ 4.4
W Capped (8 sem.) ~ 4.2
UW ~3.8
Rank - Top 1%, but I don't think it'll matter soon since they're eradicating the ranking system at my school...

SAT: 2180 (680CR/710M/790WR)

SAT II: Bio E - 660 (WHOOPS). US History - 730

APs: APWH-3, AP Calc AB-2, AP Bio-3, APHG-4, APUSH-5

Senior Course Rigor : AP English Lit., AP Stats, APES, AP Gov. & Politics/Econ H, Photography (DARN YOU, VAPA)

Extracurriculars : Leadership - 2 YEARS: ASB Secretary (1 yr.), Junior Class Officer (1 yr.)
Tutored elementary school-aged children 1 yr.
Volunteered at a hospital during the summer.
Camp Counselor/Intern for 2 consecutive years so far and plan to go
for a third year.
California Scholarship Federation (4 yrs.)
Track & Field (2 yrs.) - Finalist
Volleyball 1 yr.

Not helping: Asian Female, not an immigrant, not socioeconomically disadvantaged, not a first-generation college student. LOL.

A-G Courses - 44
Honors Courses - 12

I'm kind of worried about the above, because a ridiculous amount of UCLA/Cal applicants have 50+ A-G courses and 15+ Honors courses, but NO ONE at my school holds that many! I'm also nervous about the "Not Helping" portion and my sorta lackluster ECs (in comparison to all of the other UCLA applicants on here), oh well. Thanks for the input guys!

AP scores and UW GPA are low. What are the stats of students from your HS that get into UCLA?

This isn’t specifically directed to you, but can everyone put their “chance me” posts in the official “chance me” forum? There are too many of these threads that aren’t very useful for applicants.

@uclastudennnnt Woah sorry, I forgot that there was a forum completely dedicated to this kind of stuff. I would delete this post now if it was possible… & my school has a LOW UCLA admit yield, about 6/450 students. One girl I knew in particular (UCLA C/O 2017) had around the same SAT score, a lower GPA, similar ECs, but was valedictorian. Another girl had a 4.0 W and UW b/c she didn’t take any APs/honors, ~2000 SAT, and was involved in XC for all 4 years, etc.
