so... the big question... lol... whats my chances at UCR..
also applied to UCI and ucd

my major is computer engineering

dont be too harsh :P

Well your chances are better at UCR than any other UC..so that's a step in the right direction. I would say you will get in there no prob. But man you got reamed on the SAT...are you are bad test-taker by any chance?

Yes, I'm a bad test taker. To me, its just the length of the test that gets to me the most. I can blow through the first hour and a half of the test knowing almost all the answers, but after that... as the questions get harder and my mind begins to wander and I start to get tired of takin the damn test, thats when I know the damage starts.

If I could stop right in the middle of the test, it'd be all good lol... but I can't... so, my scores end up like they do.

Why didn't you apply for the GAP (Guaranteed Admissions Program)?

I really wanted to apply for that, but before I knew it, my junior year flew by and next thing ya know, I was no longer eligible for it.

If you are a California resident ,you should be fine... Your GPA is MUCH higher than the published average for UCR ( 2003 data) admits and your SAT is almost right on the nose. The others are a little tougher, but you never know..........not interested in Sanda Cruz? It is rated slightly higher that UCR.

If you're a Cali resident you're in at UCR as long as you also met the A-G requierements
