...I think I have more, but I cant think of them now

I'm honestly not expecting to get into Stanford, but I'm hoping on Berkeley and UCLA. I have guarenteed admission for Santa Barbara and Irvine, so it seems like I pretty much have to only worry about Cal, LA, and SD.

Also, I am thinking of doing the Math IIC test in December for the UCs. I have an A in Calc and had an A in Precalc and it sounds like I should be able to do well on this test. Should I take it to improve my UC application?

I have to agree with brady. Unless Rishabh87 is native american, black or hispanic he (or she) does not have much of a chance at Stanford. (Sorry about third person)

I don't want to make Flopsy feel bad, but I'm new to this web site and I'm wondering are we supposed to be nice or honest? Trust me, my college counselor does not do the nice thing. Not a 1550 wunderkind? Don't bank on Stanford. UCs are easier but Berkeley isn't even safe for a 1450 anymore. So what are the rules here?

a 1500s for SAT score would pretty much secure UCs. A 1500+ on SATs would put you into the serious competative level for stanford. However with your score, I would apply for sure.

I was pretty much thinking of Stanford as a reach, so I'm not bothered by this and I also think that Cal, and UCLA are matches. Stanford is not even my first choice, and I probably would not go if accepted. I pretty much have to write a good essay to get in to the UCs.

humm i really dont kno how to interpet this, you have a high gpa but your scores dont really corrospond with your rank. you may make it into cal depending on your major, and mabe UCLA. all the other ucs your in. really dont count on stanford unles you have an uncle on the admissions committe. I think you will get into cal and la though due to elc status and high gpa.
