<p>Average UC gpa for UCB and UCLA is around 4.25 or more, so I think the're more like Reach/match for your stats. GPA is the most important for UC's.
All of your other credentials are very good.</p>

<p>I really want to go to a UC and I have my eye at UCLA mainly. Although i would be just as content with others like SD SB I and so on so forth. My stats are</p>

-20+ semesters of honors/AP courses (11 AP/Honors courses total)</p>

<p>SATs: 1850 in march but retaking this Oct aiming for 2000+</p>

<p>SATIIs: 730 math2 620 His, retaking in Nov aiming 750 math 700+ his and Bio</p>

<p>2002-English 1A-F - I took this course in summer of 8th grade going to 9th grade. My mom force me and it turned out to be a mistake. 1A is college level english. Im hoping to explain in personal statement perhaps? Is omittance a possibility because I was not in Highschool at the time?</p>

<p>Where did you read they cap at 8 semester/honors? What if between sophomore and junior years you have 16 semesters of AP's/honors. They are just going to ignore it?
I have read in the past that they cap the UC gpa at 4.5 , but not sure now.</p>

<p>im 100% sure they cap it at 8 semesters. If you have 16 semesters, they only count 8. I personally asked the UC Berkeley admissions officer when she came to our school AND i read it somewhere on the application pamphlet. Sucks huh. But they will still see that you took many challenging courses.</p>
