<p>I got a U.S. Patent when I was twelve. It's just a toy and doesn't have much use in real life. I wrote about it in my personal statement essay.</p>
<p>I don't believe any of your UC schools are safeties because you're not in the top 10% of your class and they all have 90 plus percent in top 10. I've seen kids with better stats rejected. You need a solid safety.</p>

<p>The thing is that over 90% of kids adnitted are in the top 10% of their class and many go to competitive schools. There are exceptions, but I would have good safeties. Your SATIIs will help with a strong essay.</p>
