<p>I'm Asian; I thought that didn't matter for the UCs? only stanford and usc</p>

<p>by california law it isnt supposed/allowed to matter, but the UC's have been proven to use race just through hidden factors such as hardships and such. the la times wrote an article about it. it named ucb, ucla and ucsd as three that were beding the rules.</p>
