<p>First off, hello everyone. I found this forum quite a while ago and have been browsing through the threads, and now the time has come for me to ask you guys a question, so any responses are greatly appreciated.</p>
<p>I was wondering what my chances of getting into certain UCs (namely Berkeley, UCLA, SD) are with the following info... Thanks!</p>
<p>GPA (Sophmore + Junior Years):
- 3.75 Unweighted
- 4.17 Weighted</p>
<p>Tests (First tries, so room to improve):
- SAT - 2000
- ACT - 29</p>
<p>Class Schedules:
- 3 APs Junior Years - AP Bio, AP Eng, AP US Hist
- 4 APs Senior Year - AP Econ, AP Chem, AP Eng, AP Calc BC</p>
<p>Extracurriculars/Awards/etc:
- LA Country Regional Occupational Program Student of the Year (Bronze Medal)
- 3 years Interning at plastic surgeon's office
- Volunteering at local hospital
- Volunteering at local public library
- Piano 6+ years
- Member of Doctors of Tomorrow club
- Vice President of Future Medical Leaders of America club
- Volunteered at local Ukrainian Culture Center
- Consecutively on principal's honor roll
- Attended Ukrainian Saturday School for 6 years</p>
<p>Other Info:
- California Resident
- Starting senior year fall of 2011
- Would like to major in Biology and go to Medical School
- Good life story (long, turbulent divorce of parents; grandfather's heart attack and snake bite inspired me to go into medicine)
- Caucasian, of Ukrainian Origin
- First generation college student in the United States (does that count at all?)
- Will be applying for financial aid (as much as possible)</p>
<p>SAT II Stats (Not needed anymore for UCs though):
- 730 Biology M
- 640 US History (should i just throw this one out when applying?)</p>
<p>Oh, and would stanford be a stretch?</p>
