I'd say that personal statements are humorous. #1 about my musical growth and #2 about how I'm an Asian who thinks she's Mexican. (sounds a silly but it comes across as "diverse" in the essay.

My goal would probably be UC Davis, UCSD as a reach and UCLA as a friggin' miracle.

You want to be a music major? Because I see a stong musical focus in your ECs.

I think your assessment of UCLA (and Berkeley by the way) and UCSD are accurate.
UC Davis: High match (the UC GPA of mid 50% of admitted and enrolled students at UCD start at 3.86)
UCI: Match
UCSB: Low match
UCSC: Safety
UCR: Safety
UCM: Safety

It looks that way, huh? I actually want to be a Bio Major but music is just a really strong passion of mine so I end up incorporating it into a lot of my activities. A bonus is that it’s easy for me to score many leadership positions in musical groups.

Since you’re new to this board and got chanced, with a chance file containing all five ratings on the scale, here’s the scale:

Reach: Very difficult to get in, little room for admission
High match: More likely to be rejected than accepted but with some room for admission
Match: Near-equal chances for admission and rejection
Low match: More likely to be accepted than rejected but with some room for rejection
Safety: Near-certain admission
