UC GPA= 3.6
SAT I= 1330
SAT II= 800 (Math IIC), 760 (Writing), 670 (Physics)

6 APs by graduation (mostly 4s). Numerous Honors courses freshman and sophomore years.

Applying to all the UCs except Merced, Riverside, and Santa Cruz. Will my high test scores make up for my low GPA?? Also, I'm instate. What do you think my chances are??? Thanks a lot guys........

Santa Barbara, San Diego and Irvine seem like the best bet so far, since you aren't applying to Riverside, Santa Cruz, or Merced. But, you never know. There's always that slight chance including ECs and everything that you could get in elsewhere.

Also I'd re-think applying to the "lower" UCs as well as a few of the CSUs like Cal Poly. It doesn't hurt to have back up.

I don't know how anyone can begin to give an opinion without knowing class rank. That is uber important at UCs. If you're in the top 10% of your class, you have a good chance at all but B, LA and SD. If you're not, you will have to hope that one really likes your essay.

Nobody has ever answered this question for me.. HOW!? When will the UCs see class rank before students have already been accepted?

Im not really shootin for UCLA or Berk (I kno there huge reaches). Im hoping to get into Davis, Irvine, or Santa Barbara...with San Diego as my reach.

I'm from California and want to attend UCSD so I can help you out.

You're GPA is lower than the standard for the better UC's but everything else looks solid. My GPA is like a 3.75 and I'm worried, they've got a lot of over achievers. Now I'm in Texas and it's easier.
