If I use UCSD's scale, I have 7762 without the Special circumstances/personal challenges section (Hopefully, I don't get a 0 in that section ><). IDK what the other UCs use but I'm pretty scared cuz I sent in my app already.

your scores are pretty decent, but your gpa is a bit low, esp for berkeley and LA.
i’d say def in for SC, match for D and SD, reach for LA and B. good essays can boost you, but since you said you didnt really like your essays, then…i dont know.

Your GPA is a bit low, but i think your good SAT score should make up quite a bit of room.
UCB- Reach
UCLA-Reach
UCSD-Match
UCD- Likely IN
UCI-Likely IN
UCSC-Definite IN

Ok. Not trying to be rude, but how would you guys know whether or not I make it into certain schools? Do you like, study college statistics? If such were the case and you’re chancing me, shouldn’t you have the ability to chance yourself? And are you seriously asking me, a mere novice, to chance you? What does that say about your own abilities at chancing?

People often can’t chance themselves because they are either overly confident in themselves or overconfident in themselves. Moreover, most people who post on here are students, who either the top of their classes, graduated recently at the top of their classes, parents, college admission officers etc. Most of the people are qualified to make somewhat of an opinion based on what they have studied and seen happen. It’s hard to chance oneself because you might weigh too much on “your essays” or “how unique you are”, when in reality admissions officers might see you as stereotypical. This is why getting other opinions on chancing you help better calibrate where you might get into and where you should apply to. By all means, people chancing on here isn’t going to be a definite in to any school, or at that note a definite rejection at any school. If you realize most people who post on here get similar chancing from everyone who replies. This is because most people are aware what stats are needed for the ivy leagues and UC’s especially. Many are applying to the same schools and know how competitive they are. But with all things on the internet, take their chancing with a grain of salt. It is no guarantee on either of the spectrum whether good or bad. College admissions is unpredictable.
