Do you live in California? If yes, then I think you’d get into both, especially UCSC. If you’re out of state, I still think you’d have a good shot, but you’d be at a slight disadvantage.
In-state or out-of-state, though, you’ve still got a decent chance. Good luck!

VERY GOOD ecs. You would be match for UCD/UCI and might even have a shot at UCLA.

While I think your gpa/sat are too low for UCLA, never hurts to apply. And you’re in at UCSC, very strong chance if not in at UCSB.

If you’re in-state, yes to both. If you’re out-of-state, it’s doubtful.

Awesome ECs, though.

in state, Southern California resident!

i am mostly worried about my SAT scores. How high do i need to aim to feel more secure? Obviously as high as possible, but what’s a solid score for a good UC right now?

I had a 3.73 and 1940 SAT and a bit more ECs that you and was waitlisted at UCSB and later admitted (and attending!) so you have a good chance but i def wouldnt say in for sure. But SC is an in!

GOOD LUCK. the process sucks but the end results are all worth it!

haha thank you! It really helps to hear from recently admitted people to get some comparable stats

UCSB average GPA 4.0, average SAT 1880.

that GPA seems a bit high…?
