Chances at UCSD? Please help!

<p>Hi there, I'd like to be chanced at UCSD. I am currently a senior. Here are my stats.</p>

<p>Stats:
SAT I (by section): 1900 (M, 680 V, 560 Writing, 660 )
SAT IIs: Chemistry 740, Math II 610
ACT w/ Writing: 30
APs: Completed: Chemistry, Calculus AB, English Language
In Progress: Gov/Econ, Stats, Bio
IBs: None
GPA: 3.67 Calculated UC GPA
Rank: School does not rank
Other stats: 3 classes taken at a local community college (a total of 10 units)
Hours: 400 community service hours</p>

<p>Subjective:
ECs: Martial Arts-10 years
Cross Country- 2 years
Habitat for Humanity- 4 years, CO-Pres. 1 year
Kaiser Volunteer (over 200 hours)</p>

<p>Job/Work Experience: Taught Karate for 3 years
Currently working as a Tutor/Teacher at a learning center (for about four years now)</p>

<p>Your UC GPA is pretty low.</p>

<p>I know schools prefer having a GPA going up each semester, however i dont think it matters at UCSD (or not as much) since it is a point system.</p>

<p>Other than that, GPA and SAT is below average and your extracurriculars arent spectacular. I would say no, but hopefully its not true (:</p>

<p>In your defense, my GPA was lower when I got admitted 4 years ago by quite a bit. If you have time to re-take the SAT, do it.</p>

<p>As far as I have heard, admissions does like seeing a raise in GPA over the years, and if you can address it in a SUPERB essay, then you may be okay. Just keep raising it…yeah. Right now I’d say its kind of a toss-up.</p>
