Hi, I'm new here but I plan on sticking around because you're all awesome people!

I was wondering what my chances are for UCSD, UCI, USC, UCD, Boston University, New York University, Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and San Francisco State. Or if you have any suggestions for either a business major or screenwriting/English major I'd like appreciate it.

Applying for a business or econ major with biology or English as my second choices.

I'm a California resident. I go to a small magnet school heralded for its great science and technology programs. It's a Blue Ribbon nominee and has been accredited for the max number of years. It is a California distinguished school and SUPPOSEDLY one of the top 30 schools in the U.S. (maybe not one of the top 30 overall but maybe for science/technology? I don't know...the principal may be giving us only partial info)

GPA: Unweighted 3.6, Weighted 3.88
SAT I: 2060
Math: 670
Critical Reading: 680
Writing: 710

(Weak) SAT IIs:
Literature: 600
Biology: 620

My rank is 25/249 (not in the top 10% sadly)

APs:
American Lit/comp (3)

Senior classes:
AP Calc A/B
AP Gov
AP Biology
Econ (sadly they don't offer AP econ)
Modern Lit
Volleyball - Varsity

ECs:
Key club (10th-12th), officer this year
100-200 hours of community service (quick question: how do colleges know how many hours you have? I've done a lot of hours but I haven't kept very good records)
Volleyball for two years - 1 year JV - Most Improved Award, 1 year Varsity

I know it's kind of late for this because I've got to submit it today...I don't want to get caught in the rush of traffic on the 30th for UCs and Cal States. Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks!
