Chances at UCSD?

I'm going to be a senior at a really competitive high school in San Francisco this fall, and I'm starting to freak out about college admissions! I'm only planning on applying to UC's, so I'm hoping somebody could give me some perspective as to what kind of letters I should expect to receive come next March. I fell in love with UCSD when I visited the campus this year, so I'm really hoping I can get in!

My weighted UC GPA should be somewhere between a 3.8 and a 3.9... I got a D in Pre-Calculus 1 last Fall, so I repeated the course in the Spring and got a B in the class. I've been browsing various UC websites, but I'm still not sure how the admissions people will deal with the D when calculating my GPA. Otherwise, I have mostly A's and a few B's:

Sophomore Year:
English A/B
AP European History A/A
Biology A/A
Advanced Algebra B/B
Japanese A/A
(PE A/A)
(Drivers Ed/College and Career A/A)

Junior Year:
English A/B
AP US History A/A
Honors Chemistry B/B
Pre-Calculus 1 D/B (same class both semesters)
Japanese A/A
AP Psychology A/A

My extra-curriculers aren't great, since I'm probably the least athletic person you'll ever meet! I've been Public Relations Officer for both Chinese Club and Make A Difference Club (a volunteering organization) in my sophomore year, and became president for both clubs during my junior year. I was in CSF during my sophomore year, but the D in Pre-Calculus disqualified me. I was also in the Japanese National Honor Society for about a year, but the stress of junior year coupled with the insane demands of the teacher sponsoring our school's chapter caused me to drop out of the organization in the middle of the year. I got a part-time job working as an English tutor at Kumon at the end of Junior year, and will be working throughout senior year.

My SAT scores are not very impressive either, but I'm hoping to improve when I take them again this October. I also signed up for the September ACT.

SAT I (first attempt): 1880
Critical Reading - 610
Writing - 640
Math - 630

SATI (second attempt): 1940
Critical Reading - 690
Writing - 680
Math - 570

SATII:
Japanese - 660
Literature - 730
US History - 680

My family income is on the lower side (I'd say somewhere in the mid $30,000 range for four people), and I'll be the first one in my family to go to college.

I'll be really grateful for any advice I can get! Thanks in advance.

I forgot to add that I'm taking these following classes senior year (if it makes any difference):

AP Government
AP Economics
AP Statistics
English
Physiology
(Health Ed)

I also intend to major in something along the lines of liberal arts/humanities since I'm definitely not a math or science person!

UCSD: Slight Reach

UCSD uses a numbers formula for admissions. Plug in your numbers and see is you meet their cut off. Try to improve your ucsd number score to where the cutoff will likely be.

Thanks for the response!

You are borderline, and I think the extra factors will help you a lot, such as income level and first-generation college bound.

ilnerak --- for your chances at UCSD, this is the review they look at.

The cutoff on the site is from 2004, but the cutoff for this year was very close (~7400)

Thanks for link!

UCSD: Slight Reach

Thanks for the responses! I calculated my points using my current stats, and I'm definitely on the cusp for admissions.

Since UCSD is considered a "top tier" UC, where would I stand for admissions into the other UC's (Like Davis, Irvine, Santa Barbara, etc.)?
