Chances At Ucsd?

this is just based off of my sophmore and junior year.

W GPA : 3.83

honors + AP = AP US history, honors physics, honors math anal, and honors spanish III

SAT: 2050

VP racquet club, interact club, JV tennis 1 year and varsity tennis 2 years, math club, forensics, 200 hours of volunteer work, 2nd place at state science fair, and i am looking to take summer courses at UCLA or UCB.

I got two C's my sophmore year because i had terrible sinus infections and was pretty much hospitalized for a week because of the infections. I had surgery over my sophmore summer and my grades have improved and i have a pretty tough schedule and am getting mostly B's :/

sorry for the trouble and thanks once again.

If it makes any difference, I was given UCSD as a match, and I'm OOS

Counting only sophomore and junior years, gpa=3.7 sat 2190, 3 AP's, 150 volunteer hours, opinion editor of school newspaper, etc...

what is ur UW and UC gpa?

UCB/UCLA--Reach
UCSD--Slight Reach
UCSB/UCD/UCI--Match
UCSC/UCR--Safe Match
UCM--Safety

timmeo gets his higher chances at UCSD because of his 2190 SAT (OOS he's still kind of iffy, though)

UC gpa = 3.7

my bad i mean UC gpa = 3.83

yeah, I think so. UCSD was put up as a match/safety for me, but I'm still nervous. my UC GPA for junior and sophomore years is 3.7

Reach, especially if you want a science major.

for me or for him?

I meant the OP. SD will like your SAT, but it's a slight reach OOS if you want a popul;ar science major. Why do you want to spend $40K as an OOS student though? The only thing I could see spending that for is a biotech major, but still, it's going to take you 5 years to graduate, you'll have huge classes, no housing for most of the time and a lot of red tape for more than a top private would cost.

feezy:

Assuming you are a California resident,
UCSD: Match
