I’m a junior at a public FL high school who hopes to get into UF honor college.

Objective:
SAT I (breakdown): 2130 (680 CR, 690 ,M 760 W) taking the new one next year
ACT (breakdown): taking this fall
SAT II (place score in parentheses): 770 chem
Unweighted GPA (out of 4.0): 4.0 (4.9 W)
Rank (percentile if rank is unavailable): top 5%
AP (place score in parentheses): human geo (5) biology (5) chemistry (5) psych (5) world (5) calc AB (5) (taking 6 more this and same with next year)
Major Awards (USAMO, Intel etc.): national Latin exam summa cum laude, AP scholar with distinction

Subjective:
Extracurriculars (place leadership in parentheses): orchestra (officer), piano (accompaniment and for my church’s worship band), some academic clubs like Beta and Math honor society (no other officer positions)
Job/Work Experience: research in a physics lab in a local college ~12 hrs/week
Volunteer/community service: around 100 hours so far with various service projects
Summer Activities: unpaid internship in above mentioned physics lab, next year I want to do an intensive research program (probably the SSP or SSTP)

Wow, those are some incredible accomplishments. I think you’d be let into pretty much any college you apply to. UF would accept you in a heartbeat.

Some of my friends who got into UF don’t have half the achievements you do, and you’re still a junior.

No I don’t, I’m sorry. I’m a senior this year, and I’m still working on my UF application. I’ll apply to the honors college too and let you know how it goes.
