Chances at UF? Please :)

Hi all!
I just wanted to see what you guys would think about my chance of getting into UF this fall. I am aware that I probably won't get in, but I just want to see what chances most of you guys would agree that I have.

Male
Hispanic (Both mother and father immigrants from South America)
In-state
SAT: 2020 (superscore) 650 CR, 660 math, 710 writing.
ACT: Just took for the first time in Sep, waiting for scores.
GPA & Class Rank: (This is where I really fall short)
UW - 3.07
W - 4.12
UF GPA - Don't know
CR: 330/1000
Service Hours: 284, pretty much all of them working with children.
Essay: I'd rate it an 8/10 in strength, I feel very confident with it.
I've taken AP Psych, AP Human Geo, AP Government / Economics, and AP European History. Other than that my courses have all been Honors. (Yes, I know, weak courseload) I'm applying with a Sociology major.
My EC's at school are alright, I'm in 3-4 clubs and played Varsity Lacrosse for 3 years. Most of my extracurricular is outside of school in volunteering.
Any tips or advice?
Thanks so much.

Why do you think you will not get in? According to my stats - UF has an acceptance rate of 43%. Their SAT range for the 25%-75% is 1140 - 1360. Your scores for CR & M equal 1310 so I would say in that aspect you are solid. Your weighted GPA looks decent. I think you stand a chance!

Thanks for the reply  I’m worried mostly because of my gpa, but hopefully you are right.

bump bump bump bump

Where do you go to school…looks familiar to me.

I have similar stats but my sat is only 1810 and act of 27 28 superscored but uf doesnt superscore (taking again in october). I have a 3.26 and 4.13 weighted. Its gonna be tough, so im hoping.

I’ve taken 7 ap’s, 8 aice classes and 6 honors

keeping fingers crossed
