What do you think my chances of being accepted to UF?

In State

GPA:
W: 3.8
U: 3.5

Ethnic Background: Asian

SAT: Best combined score of 1700. I have taken it 3 times and thats the best I can seem to do :(

AP classes:

English Lang
Chem
Next Year:
Gov
Physics
English Lit

Rank: 10/82 (Small School)

EC:
Beta
NHS

Do not know if this would count as EC, but I took two computer certification tests at the school and received the Comptia A+ Hardware and Software Certification and the RBT Copper Cabling certification.

you have a fair chance with the high rank, gpa, and ap classes but your SAT score lowers your chances. try taking the ACTs because some people think they are easier.

Also depends on the distribution of the SAT scores. A 560 or 570 on each subject is unlikely to get you admitted but if you had just a low writing score and your math and reading were better (at least 600 each) then I believe you have a chance. Take the ACT and retake the SAT in Oct. (it will count toward either early decision or regular decision 1).

I have been doing practice tests in the Blue Book and doing some reading work, but not much writing at all and eye balling the questions which could be the problem their. Any suggestions on how to raise the math and reading score up about 100 points each section? Is the ACT easier?
