UGA is probably my #1 choice right now, what do you think my chances are?

Thanks in advance!!!!!!

Pretty certain. Like... i see 30 people from my school apply there each year, and at least 20 of 'em get in -- although I am in-state private...

The only thing that could hold you down is that GPA... is that weighted or unweighted? UGA is known for being a GPA buff..

Did you apply to UVA?

What do you mean 3-14%?

Joseph is easily a 60th percentile candidate for UGA; it's not that hard to get in.

with a 1340 and those EC's he is a lock. Im sure he took at least a few AP's. Nevertheless even without them he is in.

UGA is incredibly difficult to get into because he is out of state and the Hope scholarship has allowed more qualified students from the state of Georgia to attend UGA. You've got great EC's but your grades might hurt, I know people with better grades and SAT's that were rejected or deferred, but they lacked your EC's. Good luck.

Yeah I'm worried about my grades b/c I'm out-of-state, but I'm hoping my SAT will help me out some. As for ECs, does UGA really factor them in as much? I heard they're primarily interested in GPA and SATs.

As for APs, I've taken 3, all senior year: Economics, Government, and Biology. I took honors Precal and Physics junior year, as well as some other honors classes freshman and sophomore year.
