<p>First off, thanks for taking the time to chance me. I really, REALLY appreciate it and WILL chance back anyone and everyone who asks for it. Thanks! </p>

<p>White Caucasian Male
~3.83 UGA GPA (core classes based on grades straight off the transcript)
9 Honors Classes in core subjects
5 AP Classes (Lang, Comp Sci A, Lit, Calc AB, Government)
Rank: 60/450 at high-ranked GA public high school</p>

<p>Side Note: Freshman year was fantastic academically, rough patch sophomore year (mix of As and Bs in honors classes and one C one semester in honors chemistry) which messed up my GPA due to two deaths in the family. Junior year best year academically rigor-wise.</p>

<p>Senior Schedule (3 APs):</p>

<p>Economics (required)
AP Calc AB
AP Literature
AP Government - Comparative
Physics (required)
Contemporary Literature (considered a literary elective)</p>

<p>5 APs at end of high school (Lang, Comp Sci A, Lit, Calc AB. Government)</p>

<p>1900 SAT (620 CR, 620 M, 660 W)
Took September ACT, Expecting a 29-31 based on practice tests.</p>

<p>I have leadership positions in 2-4 clubs, two year-round part time jobs, and do a good amount of volunteer work with my church, school, and library. Planning on applying early action, but please chance both EA and RD. I understand that my chances for EA are probably slim.</p>

<p>I definitely think you’ll get in to UGA. Having said that, it won’t hurt to retake SAT or ACT to be safe. Even if you don’t, I think you’re safe!</p>

<p>Honestly UGA is not that hard to get into. I’m a HS freshman in another well-known GA high school, and the majority of applicants get in. The average SAT score for UGA is only like 1830, so unless you want to get into the honors program, you really don’t have to take the ACT. However, your amount of AP classes is a little on the low side (average number of APs taken by accepted at my HS is 7), but I doubt it will be a big problem for you. Just write a good essay, and you’ll be fine.</p>

<p>I don’t see why you wouldn’t get in, especially considering that you’re in-state. Send both SAT and ACT, both are good for UGA.</p>
