<p>Hello. I am a high school student at the 3rd best public high school in the state of Massachusetts. I am class of 2015. I slacked my freshman year and got a 3.3 unweighted GPA. For the rest of high school I am going to try very hard and get atleast a 3.5 by the end of high school. I do lacrosse, community service and extra curricular clubs. My dream school is UMass Amherst but Im worried I wont get in. I am also looking at BC and NYU but those are reach schools. What are some good safety schools? I was looking at UMass Lowell and UMass Dartmouth as safety schools. Thanks!</p>
<p>I think you have a good chance at Umass Amherst. Admissions will go easy on freshman year if they see improvement. A good essay and community service hours will help you too. So relax, you will be fine.</p>
