Chances At UMass -- Transfer

I'm a senior in high school in michigan, i'm going BGSU next year but I'm not too interested in staying (i plan on transferring after freshman year). I'm majoring in Journalism with a minor in either film theory and criticism or creative writing.
High School GPA - ~3.0, i wasn't too motivated through out high school and took a lot of classes i didn't want to take (chemistry, adv. chemistry, AP biology, etc...) But, i currently have a 3.5.
ACT (I didn't do that well) Engl. 24, Math. 24, Sci. 20, Reading 20, Writing 12/12.

If I keep around a 3 point or above freshman year will it make up for my sub-par ACT scores?

any feedback would be helpful

help please, bump

also, i'm out of state

I think if you can write an interesting essay and seem really excited about going there then you should be ok to transfer. Make sure they know that you really want to go.

You don't trust my answer Drew? haha jk jk. Good luck with the transfer!
