Chances at UMich engineering

Hello, I am looking at my chances for getting into the engineering program at UMich. I'm looking at mechanical engineering in specific, and I believe my essays are strong and I demonstrated a passion for Mechanical engineering along with other aspects of myself.

GPA: 3.72 UW 4.44W
Pretty Rigorous schedule, took BC Calculus Junior year, along with 7AP classes, along with everything else being honors except English, of which 3/4 were regular level, one was AP, and band which was always regular as theres no other choice.

5 ap tests taken so far, 5's in 4 of them (4 in APush)

I go to a chicago high school, one of the top 5 in illinois.

ECs
Wrestling (3 years)
Track and Field (4 years)
Mathletes(4 years, 1 captain, placed in state individually)
Scholastic bowl(4 years)
Marching Band(4 years)
Library volunteer(not that much, ~100 hrs total, 4 years)
Honor Society
Spanish Honor Society

Standardized Tests:
ACT: 36 (36 math, 36 science, 35 reading, 35 english)
SAT II's: Math II - 800, Physics - 800

I come from a pretty well-off family, am white, so no advantages there :/

Overall I feel my test scores and ECs are pretty strong, though my gpa seems kinda bad, though I feel that the rigor and quality of highschool might make up for that. I am just below top 10% for UW GPA, and well above the 10% threshold for weighted GPA. Probably top 10-20 out of a class of 400.

It should be a high match for you. Your test scores are great. Your GPA is not optimal but should not be a big problem due to the high course rigor and competitive school profile. The admission rate at UMich CoE may go below 20% this year.
