Ahhh, okay, that explains a lot. We don’t go on ski trips, I’m not sure what caused me to write that. A lot of the stuff we do is out of our own pockets, or the club advisor (who is also my Latin teacher) foots the bill. The district is certainly preppy and privileged, but personally I am not. As for Georgetown, I’ve heard it has an awesome campus from my friend’s brother, but I only plan on going down there if I get in. I applied to Georgetown College, going in undeclared, but who knows. My GPA kills me! I wish I knew how much I would regret being lazy in my freshman and sophomore years… I didn’t think it mattered so much. Your judgements are in line with my own, except for the three you mentioned; I think I’m more in the reach for each, but that’s probably from reading about too many insane applicants on CC. Oh well.
