probably a slight reach

BTW being asian is not a minority in college admissions

probably a slight reach

BTW being asian is not a minority in college admissions

yea i knew that asian thing. too many damn asians in good colleges ***...(no offense to anyone)

i still think it's a kind of a little big reach. The african-american kids i met there had like 3.8 in high school last year when i talked to some of them during a summer program. but still apply

a little big reach...??? (i got u) still tho crap it all seems really good except for 1 frikkin thing
i wished they cared a little less about your GPA

Have you applied already?

I'd say it's unrealistic, until I read "I am a URM, if that helps". Well, that will likely get you in.

A URM female from my school got in, had a 3.3 UM GPA, and a 28 on the ACT.

Nevermind the above post - just found out you're Asian. That's not going to help.

I think that if you haven't applied already, then you'll be awaiting a rejecting letter with that GPA and your OOS status. If you have applied, I think you're going to get deferred, and your only chance being your Senior year grades being all A's with a tough curriculum.

well indian really, and anyways does the fact that i have a cousin that goes there matter? the application asks for that

and yea i already did send out my stuff like a week ago

wait correction i have two cousins there and **** i fergot to add one of them to my application
awww that is some ********

reach. if your weighted GPA is a 3.5, there's no way your Michigan GPA is a 3.4.. I just dont think that's possible. And BTW, OOS admissions is significantly more difficult.

and a2 is right, Asian is not a URM, not even close...

And cousins aren't family Alums, nor is that legacy. The only people you could list that they will count for are parents and grandparents.

i dunno they do ask u if u have cousins that go there and before the court made them change their acceptance guidelines, they used to give u points if u had cousins there. Besides that tho i think ill get deferred/waitlisted. u think if i get straight A's and 1 B for senior semester grades ill get in?

i am talking AP Calc BC, AP physics C, and rest honors courses so.....
