Chances at UNC and other NC schools

I’ve been stressing a lot lately. Junior was a bad year for me. I dropped my GPA from 3.65 to a 3.37 because I got lazy. My grades are improving and I just would like some opinions. Could you guys tell me my chances at UNC Chapel Hill, UNC Wilmington, UNC Asheville, UNC Charlotte, UNC Greensboro, Appalachian State, Western Carolina, East Carolina, and NC State?

Unweighted - 3.37

ACT: 24 Composite
26 Math
23 English
21 Reading
26 Science

I have 13 Honors Classes and 2 AP. By the time I graduate I’ll have 17 Honors Classes and 4 AP.

-Marching Band Captain (Euphonium)
-2 Years All County Band and 1 Year All County Chorus
-FFA
-FTA
-Beta Club

EC’s I plan to do
-Start school debate team
-Start Gay Straight Alliance club or similar LGBT related club
-Join Creative Writing Club
-Officer Positions for FTA and FFA
-Make All District Band

Some personal achievements of mine
-Coming out as gay Junior year
-Losing 67 pounds and counting
-Allowing same sex couples to our schools prom

I want to major in either Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or Enviromental Studies with a concentration in education. Which school do you think I would have the best chances at and which school has the best science/education program. I know UNC Chapel Hill is a major stretch. Even State is a bit of a stretch for me.

I would say your gpa is decent. Your ECs and ACT seem a little weak however.

Is that for Chapel Hill? Yea I don’t expect to get into UNC-CH. I plan to retake the ACT at least 2 more times. If I get a 27 or 28 next time I’ll consider sending Chapel Hill and application. You never know they might like me but as of right now I don’t think I have much of a chance there.
